The computer is quick and decisive and its free... Its rare enough to find an app for go, rarer still for it to be free. Only problem is, touch calibration is pretty off, fix that and its a 5/5

Yes, finally an actual GO game and not Reversi or GoMoku! :) I must also agree with the comment below about the touch detail.
I have searched and searched for a free go app with a solid ai and all the board sizes! I think its even better than the pay go apps!
0.7.0 crashed a lot, but 0.7.1 hasnt crashed on me yet. The stone not appearing under your finger is configurable in settings, but I prefer the default. This and "Aya Go Free" are the best two free iOS apps.
Promising start but each time Im about to win, it crashes! Im playing Fuego (weak) with the min amount of memory (yes, Im that bad).
Way to go! Please save progress and reload when restart after crash.
Flawless performance on the iPad 4. Great, great, great.
Itd be swell if you added in support for Game Center turn based matches! Even without that, this is a fantastic Go app with a good AI engine behind it.
Ever since that new update it seems like the computer player is able to make moves I cant because of the no suicide moves rule. I loved the app but now I find it impossible to win because the computer resigns too easy.
Game pieces are placed 2 rows above where I tapped every time. Unplayable. Delete game.
Truly unplayable game, pretty as it is. Always puts stones 1-2 spaces above where I tapped. Deleted immediately.
It works...its just clumsy. You need to tap and hold to drag your piece into position. A simple tap alone wont place your stone. Stupid interface design.
I like it. 1. The build in Fuego engine is very good. 2. The stone placement above the tap prevents your figure covering the space.
This app worked beautifully. Now it has yet to prove a stone where I intended it. Please fix!
This app has everything you need for playing go! All board sizes, adjustable AI difficulty, even the ability to save your matches and review later. I personally have never had a problem with crashes on my iPad2, however to anybody having issues adjust the AI bit, its overthinking is probably the issue (so not the app, but the device is making the crashs). There are settings to make the AI think less without making it any easier
So awesome. Thanks go doing this.
Thanks for making a very cool, free, open source Go game. Real-time area control is very cool :D
The AI in this game, despite having a weak setting, if far too strong for a beginner. Despite me being able to play solid games with others, the AI will always beat me despite my efforts. A disheartening app that does nothing to encourage others to explore this deep and simple game. The interface is somewhat confusing, but rarely crashes and is responsive. The sound of putting your piece down is startling in the silence of it all and makes me dread putting a piece down. However, the accuracy and responsiveness f the actual placement and its non-existent price tag make this great if you have a human pal who wants to play.
Pros: *Highly customizable games and AI *Actually free Cons: *You have to press somewhat hard to place stones *Forward/fast forward buttons are too close together, so often you end up skipping to the end of a game Suggestions: *Add a rematch button, or a rematch option under game actions
The AI just resigns on high handicaps, and crushes me on low. How am I supposed to learn like this?
